Pecan Jazz Tarts
Ingredients
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 5 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1-1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • Additional powdered sugar to roll cookies in
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F).

  2. Mix together butter, powdered sugar, flour, vanilla, and chopped pecans.

  3. Roll out in small oblong balls and place on lightly greased (or parchment paper-lined) cookie sheet.

  4. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.

  5. Roll still-warm tarts in additional powdered sugar.

Yields 15 to 20 cookies
